Mr. Subodh Prasad Gautam was appointed as the Independent Director in the Board of Directors of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. by the Board of the Bank on 3^rd September 2026. He has been currently serving as the General Manager and Company Secretary of Doodhpokhari Chhepe Hydropower Ltd., leading the overall development and near-completion phase of the hydropower project.

Mr. Gautam has gained 28 years of vast experience in Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. (ADBL) in various roles before being retired from the position of Deputy General Manager of ADBL. During his career in ADBL, he worked in various functions such as Branches, HR Division, Marketing and Branch Operation Division, Legal Division, General Service Division, etc. After retiring from ADBL, he has gained 8 years of work experience in the development sector including serving as the Managing Director of Doodhpokhari Chhepe Hydropower Ltd. from 2018 to 2024, where he was responsible for strategic planning, coordination with government authorities & stakeholders, oversight of engineering, procurement & construction activities, managing budgeting, resource allocation, team operations and ensuring compliance with technical, safety and regulatory standards.

Mr. Gautam holds Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Tribhuvan University.
