Remittance from India

We issue normal VISA/Mastercard Debit Card (valid only in Nepal and India), NSBL Insta Card (valid only in Nepal and India) and USD VISA International Debit Card (Vishwa Yatra Card).
To subscribe for NSBL DEBIT CARDS, our account holders can visit any of our branches and submit a duly filled card application form, along with one passport size photo.Customers can also apply for a debit card via NEPAL SBI YONO mobile application. The bank reserves the right to accept or reject any application. Card application forms are available at all our branches.
A normal domestic Visa/Mastercard Debit Card takes about 25 days to get delivered.
Whereas NSBL Insta Card facility can be availed instantly.
The card is valid for 5 years
Upon the expiry of your card, you can get a renewed card.
Card can be closed anytime as per the wish of the customer.
Technically there is no difference between the two cards. The only difference is that a normal domestic Visa Debit Card will have customer’s name printed on it while NSBL Insta Card does not have this personalized service.
Both NSBL Visa/Mastercard Debit Card and NSBL Insta Card can be used in Nepal & India at ATM Terminals, POS Machines or ECOM payment at websites that are secured by either Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode.
Insta Card costs Rs. 1000.00 whereas a normal debit card costs Rs. 1500.00, both having validity of 5 years.

Service charges and feesPlease inform nearest Nepal SBI branch to block the card immediately. Kindly note that the cardholder is fully liable for the transactions processed up to the time NSBL is notified of the lost/stolen card. The Bank will issue the replacement of the lost/stolen card upon your written request with applicable charges. However, you cannot get replacement card for Bharat Yatra Card.

The customer should pay NPR 100.00 for blocking the lost card from our branch offices / call center. However, card blocking service via internet banking / YONO mobile banking is free of charge.
Cardholders can change their PIN immediately from any Nepal SBI ATM terminal, internet banking/ YONO mobile banking application, free of charge.
Customers can also provide a written request in our branch office to reset the PIN and it will take around 30 days to get the physical PIN delivered

Generating ATM PIN from Nepal SBI ATM terminal, internet banking/ YONO mobile banking application is free of charge. However, NPR 100 is charged if the cardholder submits re-pin request in any of our branch offices.
You must contact to the ATM linked branch office immediately, with valid identity card. Bank has right to reject the request if the document/ ID is not valid.

All NSBL debit cards are pre-enabled for performing online transactions in NPR and INR on websites that are secured by either Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode. Cardholders can directly make payments without having to submit any requests at our branch offices. However, up-to-date mobile number is required to receive One Time Password (OTP) to authorize e-commerce transactions.
Cardholders are required to make an online transaction at any Nepalese portal before attempting transaction at Indian websites.
There will be no charge for ecommerce transactions in Nepal based ecommerce sites.
For Indian ecommerce site, the charge is 0.5% of transaction amount or NPR 50.00, whichever is higher.
There is no such provision.
Yes, but only one of the account holders will get NSBL Visa Card.
We require your written complaint. On the basis of your complaint, we will process for it and your account will be credited after we receive chargeback/reimbursement from the concerned bank (ATM). For this we require following details along with your complaint letter:

Yes, you may use any international card issued by VISA or MasterCard in Nepal SBI ATMs. The transaction limits and charges for International cards are as follows:
Access fee per withdrawal : NPR 500.00
Limit per transaction : NPR 20,000.00
