Mr. Bharat Raj Wasti represents Employees Provident Fund (EPF), one of the promoters of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd, in the Board of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. since 20th May, 2021. Mr. Wasti holds Master's Degree in Economics and MBA from Tribhuvan University. He started his career in EPF in the year 1998 and gained experience of working as Project Analyst, Finance Analyst and other departmental areas of EPF operations for more than 21 years. He was also appointed as Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of NIDC Capital Markets Ltd. from August 2013 to February 2017. He has also held the position of Chairman of NCM Merchant Banking Ltd. Mr. Wasti was associated as Director in the board of Rastriya Beema Company Ltd., Nepal Bank Ltd. and Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Ltd. (HIDCL). Presently, Mr. Wasti is Acting Joint Administrator at EPF.
